How to adjust the bubbles:

1☘ If the sand falls too slowly, there may be too many air bubbles in the hourglass. Use a syringe to remove some air bubbles through the air inlet hole until the sand flows at the desired speed.

What do I do if the sand doesn’t fall or falls too quickly?

1. What should I do if the sand doesn’t fall or falls too quickly?
2. A: To create finer bubbles, gently shake the sand picture. The smaller the bubbles, the more dramatic the resulting landscapes will be.

   A: If it hasn’t been used for a few weeks, you may need to tap the sand picture lightly to get the sand moving again.

   Do I ever need to add water? What kind of water should I use?

3. A: Yes, possibly once a year. Over time, water may evaporate. We recommend using “spring water” as the best option to replace evaporated water.

   A: Please DO NOT remove the water from your sand picture. You don’t need to add much water, maybe just a few milliliters. Do not overfill. The glass could crack due to pressure.

   Will it leak?

4. A: With proper use of the injector and normal handling, water shouldn’t leak. However, there might be minimal evaporation through the sealant.

   Will I get the same sand creation every time I flip it?

5. A: No, each flip will be fascinatingly different. In fact, it will be hypnotizing.
